The musical group Frank McCulloch y sus Amigos are pleased to announce the release of their fifth CD, "Canciones de Anteayer". A CD release event and performance is planned for Sunday, December 2 at Java Joeʼs Downtown coffee shop.
"Canciones de Anteayer," or "Songs of Yesterday," contains 17 songs, 15 of which are sung in Spanish.
As with the past three recordings, this CD was made in Frank's art studio one fall afternoon by Jack Loeffler, aural historian, writer, radio producer and sound collage artist. The CD cover is of Frankʼs guitar superimposed on one of Frankʼs paintings (Frank is also a well-known artist).
The CD will also be available soon on CD Baby, and can be purchased from the group at their performances.
